Shirley Hoggatt

Shirley has over thirty years of experience in the health care industry and joined the UCA team in December of 2008. Prior to joining UCA, Shirley worked in both physician-owned practices and hospital-managed practices. She has extensive experience in revenue cycle management including credentialing, managed care contracting, coding, collections and practice management. Her experience includes specialties of Anesthesia, Pain Management, Primary Care, Cardiology, Hospitalist Care, Multi-Specialty Practices and Urgent Care. Most recently Shirley worked for more than 10 years as a trainer and system support specialist for Health Management Associates, during which time she assisted in the opening of physician practices, training staff on the practice management system, accounts receivable management and statistical reporting. Her duties also included identifying and correcting clinic deficiencies including work flow problems, accounts receivable issues and training needs.
