Shannon Yarrow, MBA

Shannon Yarrow, has over 14 years of managed care contracting experience. Shannon has negotiated numerous hospital, physician and IPA agreements including agreements for: Tufts Health Plan in Waltham Massachusetts.
She has experience on the payor side having worked for Pacificare of Arizona, CIGNA. With CIGNA, Shannon was the Assistant Vice President for Network Management for Arizona which encompassed over 600,000 commercial members, plus Medicare and Medicaid business lines. Later she directed CIGNA's national ancillary contracting efforts.
Shannon switched to the provider side in 2005 to work for Tenet Healthcare of Florida, representing 15 hospitals in South Florida in their relationships with payors. She served as the AVP, National Contracting and assigned to negotiate on behalf of all Tenet Facilities nationally. She worked briefly for Beech Street PPO network and finally into the independent consultancy business and joined the UCA team in February, 2010.
